A Demon's Love

When you look at us what do you see?
Do you see a normal person?
A monster?
 An evil entity?
 Do you believe we exist?
 Or look right through us?
 Do you fear us or embrace us?
Do you try to banish us?
 Why is it you think of us this way?
 Haven't you ever heard "the darkest hearts love the best"?
 This is speaking of demons. Like me. I can not speak for all of us, but I can for those like me. We are tortured souls forced to walk the cold earth alone. We do not mean any harm, we just wish to find light and solace, Warmth...
 We might appear to you as some sort of angsty emo kid, And theoretically you wouldn't be wrong.. For we are artists, and we feel our emotions much stronger than others do, and we can feel yours, Even if we appear oblivious, feigning ignorance is a defense mechanism. We may be demons...and may suffer and may, unknowingly, hurt people.... many times over. But we don't on purpose.
 We are prone to love easily, and fast, but it is the truest love you will ever know, the one that sacrifices, The one that stays by your side no matter what, that never falters and fights to the death. If we say we love you, it's a big deal, and shouldn't be taken lightly. We might say it "too soon" not to scare you or come off crazy, but to make it known so we don't lose you...
 We are always severely misunderstood... feared and forced to become what we are stereotyped: evil monsters... Who hurt others...
 We are not like those things, they are force even more evil than Satan. If a Demon becomes a monster or evil being it is because you made us that way, you didn't give us a chance to be what we truly are.
Just like any other race, we are grossly stereotyped and it hurts us. We are confused with other races and grouped in a box.. please don't put us in a box.
 Let us be our individual selves. Let us love you in a way that only a demon can, truly, madly, deeply, purely... let us help you smile, and make sure it never leaves, let us take your burdens as our own, let us listen actively, let us show you our most intimate and naked selves (not necessarily physically, though we don't mind that from the right person (;).
We like to touch, A LOT it may seem annoying or clingly, but if you draw boundaries we won't break them, until we have permission... We will fall for you fast if you are right, and that is just how we are. We also want to taste your life essence occasionally, and will ask nicely, taking in it the least painful way possible. It is a most erotic experience and will offer ourselves to you. A test of faith if you will...
We only ask those we intend to bond with for life... if a demon asks you to bond, it's a pretty big deal, and you must only accept knowing fully what you are getting yourself into...
 For a demon, who is bonded, it is more than a marriage, more than a piece of paper, a ring or a collar (though those may be present as well) it is an unbreakable bond, that lasts even beyond death, if you bond, chances are you met in a past life and will meet in every life following this....
 However, an actual bond has ceremony... you take blood at the same time as your partner, usually during climax. This is different than just sharing blood, you bite them, then they bite you (or cut if they can't pierce skin with teeth)although this is highly erotic and creates a form of trust and a special connection,and not done with many partners (in most cases, typically we will have a designated blood lender) it is nowhere near the sacred bond.
Know and learn the difference.
